IPAF courses are designed to support the safe use, supervision and familiarization of mobile elevating work platforms, hoists and related work-at-height equipment. These courses help operators, supervisors and demonstrators understand equipment safety, hazard control, pre-use checks, emergency procedures and safe operating practices.

IIB provides IPAF-related training programs including MEWP Operator, Harness Training, MEWP Demonstrator, MEWP Supervisor, Hoist Operator and Hoist Demonstrator courses to support safe access operations and workplace competence.

MEWP Operator

Training for operators using mobile elevating work platforms such as boom lifts and scissor lifts. The course focuses on safe operation, pre-use checks, hazard awareness, emergency procedures and correct equipment handling.

MEWP Demonstrator

Training for personnel who demonstrate MEWP controls, safety features and basic operating procedures to equipment users.

MEWP Supervisor

Training for supervisors responsible for planning, monitoring and managing MEWP operations safely at site.

Hoist Operator

Training for personnel operating construction hoists, passenger hoists or material hoists. The course covers safe use, pre-use checks, loading limits, controls and emergency arrangements.

Hoist Demonstrator

Training for personnel who demonstrate hoist operation, safety features and user familiarization requirements.

Harness Training

Training on the safe selection, inspection, fitting and use of safety harnesses and fall protection equipment while working at height.
