Certified Rope Access Technician
DescriptionSpecialized certification for working at height using dual-rope systems, allowing technicians to reach difficult locations safely and efficiently without scaffolding.
This training provides the technical skill set required to use dual-rope systems for vertical and lateral movement. It covers the mechanical principles of descenders, ascenders, and back-up devices, alongside comprehensive knot-tying and rope protection techniques.
Education
Physically fit for height work; High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
No prior experience required for Level 1; specific logged hours required for Levels 2 and 3.
